9.26.09 - One week left until race day! Be sure to pre register to get the discounted admission fee.

9.02.09 - Keep your eyes open for promotional posters and other materials at local Glendale and participating Denver sponsors places of business. Our race team has been busy hitting the streets and getting the word out.

8.25.09 - The Metro Mile promotional video is completed and on YouTube. Click ::HERE:: to see the video, or go to the Race Details section to view it on our site. This 45 second video was created and animated by RP Design.

8.15.09 - We are looking for school bands to participate in the race. We want your brass, marching, pep band, or other school band to play along the course during the race. If you are interested, please download the volunteer pdf guide ::HERE:: and scroll to the bottom for more details.

8.12.09 - The Metro Mile is on the prowl for some volunteers for race day. If you are interested in being a volunteer to help with the race coordination, click ::HERE:: to download a specific pdf guide on what we are looking for. For further information, please contact us ::HERE::

8.01.09 - The race course has been officially laser certified as a true mile, and not one foot more or less.

7.28.09 - The rugby schedule has been posted in the Race Details section. If you are curious as to what games you will be able to see without charge when you register, please click the 'Race Details' button to the left.

7.24.09 - Pamphlets and psoters have been finalized and will be distributed to local vendors and sponsors. Keep an eye open for these snazzy items!

7.01.09 - The Metro Mile is proud to announce that it has partnered with The Denver Hospice! Part of the proceeds from the race will go to benefit this great local organization. 6.8.09 - Important!!! The date of the Metro Mile has been changed. The race will now be held on October 3rd, 2009. Races will still begin at 8:30 a.m.

6.4.09 - Today is the official launch of the website! There is still some more content on the way, but participants will still be able to register, and check out a few of the pages.

5.18.09 - The race website is officially under construction! There will be a new
slideshow which includes pictures from past races, and some other special features
as well.

5.11.09 - The Metro Mile’s logo, and race material is getting totally re-vamped.
This years race will have a new look and feel to it. Race friend, RP Design has
done all the design for the past races since the beginning. They are now busy
updating everything, so keep your eye out for some fresh new looks.

5.03.09 - Planning has begun on this years race! We have new ideas, new, faces,
and new energy. Last years race was a complete succes, and we are ready to
make this year’s even bigger and better.
