The Metro Mile was the first organized run I had ever done and I loved it! It benefited two great causes: the Glendale YMCA and Donors Choose. I also got my parents to sign up for the race and they walked with the seniors; my dad was so motivated by Ellyn Wood at the YMCA that he ran the last half of the race! They both had a great time.
